Two members of Britney Spears’ team have submitted their resignations this week.
The singer’s manager, Larry Rudolph, who has been with her since 1995, quit after becoming aware of Spears’ intention to “officially retire.” Deadline obtained a letter written to her co-conservators on Monday (July 5th) where Rudolph explained that he hasn’t spoken to the embattled star in more than two-and-a-half years. He added, “As her manager, I believe it is in Britney’s best interest for me to resign from her team as my professional services are no longer needed.”
Deadline also reported Tuesday (July 6th) that Sam Ingham, who has represented Spears in her conservatorship for the last 13 years, filed legal documents asking to be dismissed as her court-appointed lawyer. Sources tell TMZ that Ingham is upset that Spears told the court she never knew she could end the conservatorship, which he claims is untrue.
One person who has no intention of going anywhere is personal co-conservator Jodi Montgomery. According to TMZ, Montgomery confirmed Tuesday (July 6th) that she would be staying on at Spears’ request. The statement read, “Ms. Spears as recently as yesterday has asked Ms. Montgomery to continue to serve.”
