Cardi B took to social media to call out “white twinks,” calling them disrespectful. According to Urban Dictionary, “White Twinks” are young, gay, white males. The rapper tweeted yesterday (July 14th), “White twinks on this app are weird. You don’t dictate people’s action.” Most people were fine with her statement but some where offended. One person wrote, “idk what everyone has decided Twink means in 2021 but if it’s still the same as 2010, I’m out because slurs and generalizations are not it.”
Cardi later addressed the backlash, saying, “I said what I said and I’m not taking it back!!! Ya love to hide behind black female artist pictures on your avi and be the ones saying the most disrespectful sh*t about women & dictating their moves and start wars between female artist fans ALWAYS!”

In other news, Cardi B and Reebok announced a new signature sneaker called Classic Leather Cardi. The new gold tone sneaker will drop on July 16th.
Cardi also announced a new collaboration with Normani entitled “Wild Side” which will be out on Friday (July 15th).
