Chris Janson will represent the Grand Ole Opry to kick off the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN on Thursday, Sept 2nd. Joining him during the Opry At Bonnaroo set will be Riders In The Sky, guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, founding Carolina Chocolate Drops member Dom Flemons, roots artist Amythyst Kiah, Maggie Rose, solo artists and lead guitarist for Foo Fighters, Chris Shiflett, and The Travelin’ McCourys.
Lee Brice returned to the Ryman Auditorium to perform a benefit show to help raise money for the John Hiatt Adolescent and Young Adult Treatment Fund at Cumberland Heights on Tuesday (August 3rd) where he was presented with a plaque to commemorate the RIAA certification of Double Platinum status for the track he recorded with Carly Pearce, “I Hope You're Happy Now.” The song went to Number One on the Country charts and was awarded “Musical Event of the Year” and “Single of the Year” at the 56th ACM Awards, and also grabbed the award for “Musical Event of the Year” at the 2020 Country Music Awards. This latest Platinum Single Award takes Lee to 20 Million RIAA song awards.
