Dan + Shay are in the midst of a whirlwind album release week, which includes a Friday (August 13th) morning performance on NBC's Today show in the morning in New York City followed by a live concert at Centennial Park back in Nashville that evening. The duo will perform music from their new album, Good Things, which will be released that day.
The concert will be Dan + Shay's first in Music City in over a year. They were only three shows into their 2020 headlining tour — two of which were in Nashville — when Covid halted everything.
Shay Mooney tells us that tomorrow's Good Things concert will be emotional on many different levels. “This will be a celebration, just getting to see our fans here, and it's gonna be definitely an emotional night, but, man, that moment of being up there at Centennial is just gonna be pretty surreal. I mean, it's gonna be a lot of people. It's gonna be a lot of our friends and family. We haven't really gotten to see a lot of our team through this, obviously with Covid, and it's gonna be definitely a celebration of not only our fans and of this album but also just the people who helped us get here.”
General admission tickets are still on sale at danandshay.com. The duo wll be joined by Ingrid Andress and Morgan Evans.
Dan + Shay will resume their headlining Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour this fall with new 2021 days. The 30-date trek begins on September 9th in Greenville, SC with special guests The Band CAMINO and Ingrid Andress.
