Brett Young has had a string of Number One songs and he and his wife, Taylor, are now the parents of two little girls. He says life is very different now compared to just a few years ago.
On this Labor Day, Brett tells us about some of his early jobs that weren’t music business-related: “I worked in a lot of restaurants, anything from waiting tables, to bussing tables, to bartending, to cruise ship bartending, to nightclub bartending. But also, the summers after my junior and senior year in high school, I worked construction with a general contractor that did everything from the ground up — anything from framing a back deck to building a house and laying foundation and doing the whole thing. I worked in mortgages the year leading up to that whole big kaboom, and so anything that seemed like it was interesting to me and if I worked hard, I could be successful, I’ve kind of been all over the place.” :30 (OC: all over the place)
Brett will host his inaugural Caliville weekend in Palm Springs, California this Labor Day weekend. He will be joined by Chase Rice, Maddie & Tae, Devin Dawson and Seaforth, to name a few.
