CMT Artists of the Year will return this year with a live broadcast on October 13th at 9 p.m. ET honoring the five standouts from 2021 including Chris Stapleton, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Luke Combs.
Luke and Kane were previously honored in 2019, when CMT last presented its pre-COVID Artists of the Year. Kelsea was an honoree in 2018, while Chris joined the lineup in 2017, leaving Gabby as the only real newcomer to the event, according to Variety.
CMT Artists of the Year will air live from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
