Billie Eilish says she struggles with her own self-confidence.
In an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the actress told Eilish that she understood a lot of what she was going through because of her own early success.
Eilish said that even though she’s always been very strong-willed and honest, the older she gets, the less confident she’s become.
She referred to comments in the media and said that “it’s not fun right now” and she’s just trying to figure it out.
Eilish didn’t reference anything specifically but talked about social media and internet comments calling her ugly and terrible.
She said, “Failure is an interesting thing because, like success, it’s really only in your head.”
