After 13 years, Britney Spears‘ father, Jamie Spears has been suspended as the conservator of her estate.
As suggested by her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, a judge appointed CPA, John Zabel as her temporary conservator until Dec. 31.
Though he had agreed in August that he would step down, Jamie Spears asked the court earlier this week for Britney’s petition for a temporary conservator be denied.
In a Los Angeles court on Wednesday (9-29) Rosengart stated that Britney’s father does not belong in her life for another day. He also pointed out a 2019 restraining order filed against him for Britney’s two teen sons.
In a statement to People.com, Rosengart noted that his firm is also investigating Jamie's alleged abusive conduct.
As for her personal conservator, Britney's longtime care manager, Jodi Montgomery remains in that role.
