A bad hair day nearly derailed Shakira’s Super Bowl Half Time appearance.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer shared in the November issue of Glamour UK that she tried to freshen her blonde locks the night before the big game and ended up darkening her hair.
She told the outlet, “So I was dying my hair the night before the Super Bowl, with the exact same hair dye that I use every time. And that night, my hair decided to turn black!”
She said, “We had to dye it again, using 40 volume peroxide water. My scalp got really irritated.”
Shakira added, “A lot of stuff happened after that,” ultimately leading to the singer performing as a blonde alongside Jennifer Lopez at Super Bowl 54.
