Jamie Spears has filed paperwork to bring an end to his daughter’s 13-year conservatorship.
According to paperwork obtained by TMZ Tuesday (Nov. 2nd), attorneys for the elder spears wrote, “This conservatorship should end. Now. There is no reason for another second of delay. Jamie is willing to stipulate to the immediate termination of the Conservatorship without reservation or exception.”
He added that he is not seeking any further compensation for his role as conservator and that he is willing to turn over his files on the conservatorship in order to officially bring things to an end.
Britney and her fiancé Sam Asghari have reportedly put their plans for the future are on hold, pending the outcome of her November 12th conservatorship hearing. TMZ reports that the recently engaged couple wants to buy a house, plan their wedding and get to work on a prenup but haven’t made any progress because they’re waiting to see if a judge will rule to terminate the conservatorship.
