As of Tuesday (November 9th), over 30 lawsuits have been filed against Travis Scott and Astroworld organizers following the festival tragedy. Among the lawsuits filed yesterday was on behalf of the father of Ezra Blount, a nine year old who — according to a press release from Ben Crump Law, was “trampled and catastrophically injured at the Astroworld Festival.”
E.B., who suffered brain, liver and kidney trauma, “is currently hospitalized in a medically induced coma on life support.” He was “kicked, stepped on and trampled” as people around him were lifting up “unconscious bodies of friends and strangers and surfed them over the top of the crowd, hoping to send them to safety.”
Ezra and his father are seeking general damages, as well as exemplary damages.
TRAVIS WENT TO DAVE & BUSTER'S AFTER ASTROWORLD CONCERT
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Scott went to Dave & Buster’s for an after-party — but at that point no one had told him that some of his fans had died in the crowd and hundreds more were injured at his festival.
A source said, “Travis didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party, as far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one including the police had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had taken place.”
Drake — who was a surprise guest at the concert, reportedly hosted the after-party but he also “didn’t have a clue” about what was going on. Once Travis was informed about the tragedy, he immediately left the after-party.
REPORT: KARDASHIANS EDIT TRAVIS SCOTT OUT OF NEW REALITY SHOW
In other news, RadarOnline reports that the Kardashians have cut Travis out of their upcoming Hulu reality show in order to distance themselves from the rapper.
A source said, “Kylie’s second baby with Travis was going to be a major storyline, but now that storyline will be pulled back. The entire family has been sucked into this disaster now.”
