Phoebe Bridgers got emotional about putting her voice on a Taylor Swift record. Calling Taylor an inspiration, she says that she’s also and incredible businessperson and songwriter.
As a fan, she said it was like a dream, “I just am so excited to have people take it at face value the day that it comes out, because I got teary recording it. I just couldn't be more excited.”
Bridgers is featured on the song “Nothing New,” on Taylor Swift’s new version of her album, Red. It wasn’t on the original album, but was written around the time of the album’s creation but ultimately didn’t make the cut.
The remake of the 2012 album will be out on Friday, November 12. Ed Sheeran and Chris Stapleton are also featured guests on the record.
