Brett Young has thrown his name behind the effort to bring Major League Baseball to Nashville. Yesterday (Wednesday, November 17th), he announced that he's getting involved in the endeavor which currently has the support of fellow country stars Luke Combs, Darius Rucker and Mickey Guyton as well pop star and Tennessee native Justin Timberlake.
Nashville's Fox affiliate reports that Brett said, “I’ve been a baseball fan my entire life and I’m looking forward to working with Music City Baseball and other music advisors to secure a team in Nashville. It’s the perfect fit for an MLB team, and the plans Music City Baseball have for a family and entertainment complex are unparalleled.”
Music City Baseball says their goal is to secure an expansion team named the Nashville Stars.
