Drake has pulled a new song called “Splash Brothers” from French Montana's new album without warning. TMZ has reported that the song was removed due to the Astroworld tragedy, with a source next to the rapper saying that he didn't think it was the best time to release music out of respect to the victims. The song will be released on a deluxe version of the album in the future.
Meanwhile, other reports said that Drake removed the song over a Kanye West/Kim Kardashian lyric. On a snippet of the track that leaked earlier this year, Drake rapped, “I’ll f**k a rapper’s wife and she ain’t even my type.”
Earlier this week, Drake and Kanye officially squashed their beef.
