The New York Times Presents documentary series on FX does not paint Justin Timberlake in a flattering light.
First, Framing Britney Spears showed Timberlake’s willingness to blame the “Toxic” singer for their 2002 breakup. Now the latest installment, Malfunction shines a light on his role in Janet Jackson’s 2004 Super Bowl halftime “wardrobe malfunction”.
Fans are over the star, tweeting, “Happy to see Justin Timberlake being exposed (again!) because he is only as relevant as he is because he stood on top of powerful females like Britney and Janet,” and “I think the next docuseries should be titled ‘Justin Timberlake: You Ain’t S–t!’ The Britney Spears and Janet Jackson documentaries proves that!!!”
