The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Memphis Police Department have issued a warrant for the arrest of 23-year-old Justin Johnson in connection to the murder of Young Dolph.
The TBI and MPD released a wanted fugitive alert as well as a press release with a description of Johnson that included a tattoo of the name “Jaiya” on his right arm.
Law enforcement's warrant alert said, “Justin Johnson is wanted by the Memphis Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for First Degree Murder, Criminal Attempt-First Degree Murder, and Theft of Property $10,000-$60,000. Justin Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous.”
The TBI is offering a reward of $2,500 for information that can lead to Johnson's arrest and in conjunction with U.S. Marshals, the Memphis Police Department and Crime Stoppers there is a reward amount of up to $15,000.
It's also worth noting that Young Dolph's alleged killer has an outstanding warrant for violation of federal supervised release out of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. This is from a weapon offense.
An image has also surfaced the internet of Johnson, who reportedly goes by the rap name Straight Dropp, in a photo with Dolph. There's a second image, which appears to be a screenshot from a music video, with Johnson wearing a PRE pendant attached to his pants.
PRE is Dolph's record label, Paper Route Empire.
