Garth Brooks Announces Stadium Date For New England

Garth Brooks has announced a concert for Foxborough, Massachusetts. Set for May 21st, at Gillette Stadium, this will mark his first time at the home of the Patriots. It’s also his only stadium date in New England. Garth tells us, this is where the idea of a stadium tour began: “They said, ‘Hey, man – you need to do stadiums.’ I told ’em I wouldn’t even know how to start. They said, ‘Come on up!’ So we went up…walked the field…talked to them…and they were the reasons – really – why we started the Stadium Tour. Supposed to be there last year, of course, with the pandemic. Boston or that New England area doesn’t get the term ‘The Capitol of Country Music,’ but I can tell you anybody – anybody – that’s ever played there will tell you the same thing – they know their country music inside and out.” :25 (OC: inside and out)
