Maren Morris‘ new single, “Circles Around This Town,” is definitely biographical but has a message that is universally relatable. Maren tells us that was important to her when writing the song. “Obviously it's very specific to my story but I think that it's relatable to a mass of people who are just trying their best and trying to figure out what their dream is and chase it down and stay inspired by it over time.”
“Circles Around This Town” is the debut single from Maren's upcoming album, Humble Quest, which will be released on March 25th.
Maren is nominated for two Grammy awards this year — Best Country Song for “Better Than We Found It” and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Chasing After You,” the chart-topping duet with her husband Ryan Hurd. The Grammy Awards have been postponed until April 3rd in Las Vegas. The show will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
