KANYE WEST SUED BY PASTOR OVER SAMPLE USED ON 'COME TO LIFE': Kanye West has been sued by Bishop David Paul Moten over his track "Come to Life" off of his DONDA album for sampling it without permission. According to TMZ, Moten says that Kanye uses his voice and one of his sermons both in the intro as well as looped throughout. The lawsuit also names UMG Recordings, Def Jam Recordings, and G.O.O.D Music with the defendant seeking damages from all parties.
DJ MUSTARD FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM WIFE CHANEL THIERRY: According to TMZ, DJ Mustard has filed for divorce from his wife Chanel Theirry, citing irreconcilable differences. Theirry spoke out on the divorce on Instagram, saying, "Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Anyone that followed me or knows me personally knows my family means the world to me. I've [dedicated] 12 loyal years and it is more [than] heartbreaking to see things end." The two have known each other since they were teenagers and after developing a friendship, they became romantically involved. Mustard proposed in 2018 and they two tied the knot in 2020.
A$AP ROCKY ANNOUNCES 'D.M.B.' COLLABORATION WITH RIHANNA: A$AP Rocky has announced "D.M.B.," a new collaboration with Rihanna. The rapper teased the track with a movie-like poster, which features an illustration of him and Rihanna from a music video they shot last year. The artwork read, “A Ghetto Love Tale Starring A$AP Rocky." The song will be out this week.
