Young Thug has been charged with seven additional felonies stemming from authorities raiding his Buckhead, Georgia home after being arrested on RICO charges earlier this week. As previously reported, Thug was named in a massive indictment with 28 other members of YSL, including Gunna.
According to Complex, the full list of new charges include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of a Schedule III, IV, or V controlled substance with intent to distribute; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; possession of a sawed-off shotgun, sawed-off rifle, machine gun, dangerous weapon, or silencer; and three counts of being a person employed or associated with a criminal street gang to conduct or participate in criminal gang activity through the commission of a crime.
Meanwhile, despite Thug's lawyer Brian Steel requesting bond, yesterday (May 11th), the rapper was denied bond after the judge determined Thug was a flight risk.
In related news, Thug's father also spoke out, telling WSB-TV that he is going to fight for her son to the end, saying, “I think my son has been unfairly linked to a lot of things, but it’s up to us to prove it. I’ma fight for him until the end, I’m his father.”
