Miranda Lambert has followed up her recent Top 10 single, “If I Was A Cowboy,” with a new single called “Strange,” which was officially released to radio yesterday (Monday, July 18th). It's the second single off Miranda's latest album, Palomino.
She co-wrote the song with frequent collaborators Luke Dick and Natalie Hemby during the height of 2020. Miranda said, “‘Strange’ is permission to just let go for a sec. We were really wanting the chorus to lift – literally and emotionally – and go into a happy place. It’s such a song for the time that we’re in right now, but it doesn’t feel like it won’t matter in 10 years, either.”
Miranda will launch her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency this fall at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 24-date run begins in September.
