Kane Brown will make MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) history when he takes the stage to become the first male country artist to perform on the show, airing live on Sunday, August 28th at 8 p.m. ET from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. He'll give the debut performance of “Grand,” the new pop single from his upcoming third album, Different Man, due out on September 9th.
Last year, Kane was the only country artist to receive a 2021 nomination (“Video for Good” for “Worldwide Beautiful”).
This year's VMA's will also include performances from Anitta, J Balvin, Marshmello x Khalid, Panic! At The Disco and Nicki Minaj, who will receive the Video Vanguard Award.
