The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office has launched an investigation into the alleged altercation between Tory Lanez and August Alsina after a tour stop in Chicago. As previously reported, Alsina claimed that Lanez and a few members of his crew attacked him after he ignored Lanez when he said hello to him. Tory has denied that an altercation happened.
The DA’s office told Complex, “We are aware of the allegations that the defendant attacked artist August Alsina and are investigating these claims. The allegations are serious and will be thoroughly examined.”

In other news, Lanez will no longer be a part of the “Fall Back In Love Comedy & Music Jam” tour following the altercation. The tour’s creator Rip Michaels said in a statement to TMZ, “There was no fight. August was sucker punched by Tory Lanez.”
The comedian added that even though Tory denied the claims, he was extremely apologetic after the altercation. August ended up missing a show due to the fight but reportedly made up for the missed show by giving out free tickets to fans.
