LAPD announced yesterday morning (September 28th) that a 17-year-old was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of rapper PNB Rock. As previously reported, the rapper was shot and killed during an armed robbery at a Roscoe’s Chicken And Waffles in Inglewood, California.
According to TMZ, in addition to the teen’s arrest, his father Freddie Lee Trone has been named a “person involved” in the shooting. Trone is still on the loose and should be considered “armed and dangerous.” Shauntel Trone has also been arrested in connection with the shooting. She has been booked for accessory to murder. Trone is the stepmom to the teen that was arrested.
Law enforcement sources say that that Freddie’s son was the shooter and Freddie drove the getaway car. Sources say that the father and son duo were already in the restaurant’s parking lot when PNB Rock and his girlfriend arrived. The sources also revealed that after the murder, the suspects burned the getaway car.
Cops have released a photo of Freddie Lee and they are urging the public to contact 911 if you see Trone or have any info on his whereabouts.
