Celebs took to social media to react to disses that Drake sent their way on his new collaborative album with 21 Savage, Her Loss. On “BackOutsideBoyz,” Drake recalls his feued with DRAM — who called out Drake for allegedly swiping elements of his 2015 tune “Cha Cha” for “Hotline Bling.”
Drake rapped, “Tried to bring the drama to me, he ain’t know how we cha-cha slide.”
DRAM, who now goes by Shelley, tweeted, “Somebody tell Drake to shut the f**k up about that s**t, man. F**kin’ five years ago. This n***a never even f**kin’ touched me, n***a. I pressed his a**. His f**kin’ bodyguards god damn — I ain’t gon’ hold you. His bodyguards went to town on the kid. But his bodyguards did, not his b**ch ass! He ain’t touch me. He’s a b**ch. You know that. Why I gotta god damn get into all of that? When I see him, I see him. What’s good with the one-on-one though, my baby? Wassup, my n***a? But he don’t wanna do that.”
Meanwhile, Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, responded to Drake's shade. On the track “Middle of the Ocean,” he rapped, “I swear you don’t even mean what y’all say like y’all dubbin’ a movie / Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie / He claim we don’t got a problem but / No, boo, it is like you comin’ for sushi.”
Ohanian responded,”The reason I stay winning is because I’m relentless about being the absolute best at whatever I do — including being the best groupie for my wife & daughter.”
KANYE WEST AND ICE SPICE RESPOND TO DRAKE
Kanye West also responded to a jab that Drake threw his way. On “Circo Loco,” Drizzy rapped, “Linking with the opps, b**ch, I did that s**t for J Prince/ B**ch, I did it for the mob ties.”
Kanye responded, “Enough already. I done gave this man his flowers multiple times. Let’s really see who are real ops are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each other’s contracts. It’s kingdom time. Love Drake.”
And Ice Spice also responded to a jab that fans think was toward her on “BackOutsideBoyz.” Drake rapped, “She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute, yeah.” Ice Spice tweeted, “At least ima 10.”
MEGAN THEE STALLION'S LAWYER SAYS DRAKE SHOULD EXPLAIN DOUBTING MEGAN GIVEN 'IRREFUTABLE' EVIDENCE AGAINST TORY LANEZ
Megan Thee Stallion's lawyer had words for anyone who doubts that Tory Lanez shot his client in July 2020. According to TMZ, attorney Alex Spiro said, “Megan is a young superstar who’s risen to the top very fast, and it’s at the time when really a community, people, and fellow artists should be rallying behind her. She is the victim here.”
He continued, “I say this as words of caution, and I know many of the folks across the industry, but those people are going to look very silly when the facts fully come out here, very silly. And it’s going to be troubling, and it’s going to be a stain that stays with them.”
As previously reported, on “Circo Loco,” Drizzy rapped,”this b**ch lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion.”
Meanwhile, Lil Yachty took to social media to address the line, saying it had nothing to do with Megan. He explained, “I know he’s not going to address it, because I know Drake. It’s not about Megan it’s about women lying about their butt shots saying it’s real when it’s fake.”
It is being reported that Her Loss will debut at no 1 on the Billboard 200, and will sell more than 335,000 copies in its first week.
