Drake and 21 Savage are being sued by Conde Nast over their fake Vogue cover. As previously reported, the rappers posed on the cover of a fake Vogue magazine for the promotion of their new joint album Her Loss. According to TMZ, in legal docs, Conde Nast said that Drake and 21 Savage used their magazine's name to promote their joint album, leading fans to believe the company would drop the special edition soon.
The company and editor-in-chief Anna Wintour says that they “have not endorsed “Her Loss” in any way.”
The company also claimed to have asked the rappers multiple times for all promos using the Vogue name to be taken down but nothing has been done. In addition to posting the fake cover on both of their social media pages, Drake and 21's teams sent an email blast to fans about “celebrating Drake’s Vogue cover.”
Conde Naste wants a judge to shut down the use of the Vogue mark immediately and they’re seeking least $4 million in damages.
