Nicki Minaj fans lost it on social media after she was shut out of the 2023 Grammy nominations. A few weeks back, Minaj called out the Grammys after telling fans that her hit “Super Freaky Girl” was being considered for inclusion in Pop categories instead of rap.
Nicki hasn't responded to the snub but her fans took to social media to respond. One Barb tweeted, “Nicki being the only female rapper without a grammy is more iconic to me than her getting one idk.” Another Barb wrote, “Nicki should just do like Drake and The Weeknd and not submit anymore. Cuz its getting real ridiculous out here.”
Meanwhile, #NoGrammyForGranny started trending after the news hit. One person wrote, “Keep diming other women lights and watch how God humble you. #NoGrammyForGranny.” Another person tweeted, “you aint finna be rewarded for sh*tty behavior #NoGrammysforGranny.”

In addition to Nicki, Summer Walker was also snubbed from any nods from the Grammys. Summer responded, saying, “And as for the Grammys, for a second time, the math is literally not mathing… I was going to post some numbers but it’s okay. At least the streets f**k with me. Ya’ll always pack out every show and support every time I drop, so thanks for the love I do receive.”
