Cardi B has been granted a community service extension after failing to complete a portion of plea deal in her assault case. According to TMZ, the judge gave her until March 1st to complete her sentence, which includes 15 days of customer service. Reports also claim that the New York native was supposed to complete her community service by Tuesday (January 17th), but so far, Cardi has done zero hours.
Cardi’s representative, Drew Findling, said in a statement, “Personally and professionally, Cardi is dedicated to community service and charitable endeavors. She therefore appreciates the court giving her until March 1st to complete her community service commitment in Queens, New York.”
As previously reported, the rapper was accused of orchestrating an attack against sisters, Jade and Baddie Gi, at Angels Gentleman’s Club in NYC back in 2018. Cardi copped a plea deal last September for the incident. She plead guilty to third-degree assault and reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors, and received 15 days of community service as part of the deal. Cardi’s plea deal also requires her to stay away from the two women for 3 years.
