Noel Gallagher misgendered Sam Smith while discussing today’s pop music scene.
The former Oasis singer told Dutch radio station Kink, “Pop music is alright if the pop stars are cool. Sadly the pop stars of today are f***ing idiots.”
When asked to elaborate, Gallagher replied with Smith’s name, adding, “Look at him.”
The “Unholy” singer is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.
