TRAVIS SCOTT TO TURN HIMSELF IN TO NYPD NEXT WEEK: Page Six has reported that Travis Scott plans to turn himself in next week over the alleged assault at Nebula Nightclub NYC that occurred earlier this week. Scott is accused of hitting a sound engineer in the face and damaging $12,000 worth of sound equipment. Meanwhile, according to The Jasmine Brand, the sound engineer spoke on the incident, saying that things turned left after he asked the rapper to lower the volume so the sound system wouldn’t distort. In a recent interview with a local news station, the alleged victim, only known as Mark said: “I was trying to tell him to lower it the volume so it sounded good for the performance. He just stuck his middle finger in my face so I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.” Mark, who was admitted to a Jersey City hospital following the incident, added, “Obviously my neck is f*ck*d up. My arm is tingly I have pins and needles going down it.” Scott's attorney has released a statement, saying that the situation is “clearly a misunderstanding” and the rapper is “actively working with the venue and law enforcement” to rectify the situation.
LIL MOSEY FOUND NOT GUILTY OF RAPE: A jury has found rapper Lil Mosey not guilty of rape. According to TMZ, the 21-year-old rapper was facing second degree rape charges for allegedly having sex with a woman at a party in Washington back in January 2020, while she was intoxicated. According to the accuser, she and a friend went to a cabin to see Lil Mosey. The affidavit stated that while in a vehicle the alleged victim consented to have sex with the rapper. However, once inside the cabin, she eventually blacked out due to drinking too much. The woman said that a short time later Mosey got on top of her and raped her. She noted having pain in her leg muscles while Mosey pushed her legs apart. She allegedly blacked out again and woke up to find another man – Joshua Darrow, 20, – forcing himself on her. Reportedly, her friend claimed to be raped by the men that night as well. Mosey pled not guilty and has maintained his innocence. He also passed a polygraph test. He reacted to the news via IG, saying, “Spent 2 years of my life going thru the storm and I’m happy to say that God finally brought the truth to light. Thank you”
