Media personality Tamera Kissen has responded to the backlash she has received after her interview with City Girls at Rolling Loud this weekend, saying that she would have been received better if she was “full black.”
Tamera asked the rappers is they knew it was the “50th year of hip-hop.” Yung Miami laughed and responded “no.”
Tamera later asked, “When was the last time y’all let a broke dude hit?” JT responded “probably like 2014.” Tamera then asked “How many years ago was that?” Tamera later asked, “Do you guys ever feel competitive against one another?” JT responded, “Thats weird as f*ck. You and your friends competitive against each other?”
After the interview surfaced online, Tee responded to the backlash, saying,”Some FYI: When footage is raw and unedited like that and people throw things at you last min as an interviewer it’s because someone on the job doesn’t want you to do good. Nothing I haven’t dealt w before.”
She continued, “The girls that don’t like me all look the saaaaaame. The community really don’t f*ck with you if you ain’t full black, let’s just be honest.”
