Suga from BTS has been named Ambassador for the National Basketball Association. The announcement was made late Thursday (4-6) as a photo was posted with him shaking hands with NBA star, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.
In a press statement, the 24-year-old said, “It is personally a great honor as I have loved basketball since I was young”.
The NBA posted a video to celebrate the union, which shows Suga sitting courtside at an L.A. Lakers game, receiving his own custom jersey from the team, and meeting several basketball greats.
Exact details of what his ambassadorship will entail, were not disclosed, but according to a release, the NBA will be “collaborating around select concerts in celebration” of his new project.
