A Malaysian music festival was cancelled after Matty Healy kissed a man on stage.
The 1975 front man was performing with his band Friday (July 21st) in Kuala Lumpur as part of the Good Vibes Festival that was running through Sunday.
According to TMZ, Healy made it clear he did not agree with the country’s laws – which have criminalized homosexual acts. As a form of protest, he made out with his bassist, Ross McDonald. In response, organizers banned the group and cancelled the remainder of the festival.
