Music from Travis Scott's new album, Utopia, which comes out this Friday, will also be featured in a film called Circus Maximus, which hits theaters tomorrow. Scott himself wrote and co-directed the project, which is described as “a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by the speaker rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album Utopia. The film is a surreal and psychedelic journey, uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.”
Circus Maximus will play only at select AMC theaters in the U.S. beginning Thursday. Scott is also promoting Utopia with a livestream event at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on July 28th.
