Mick Fleetwood‘s restaurant in Hawaii has been burned down in the wildfires spreading across the island of Maui.
The Fleetwood Mac drummer posted on social media: “This is a devastating moment for Maui, and many are suffering unimaginable loss. Fleetwood's on Front Street has been lost and while we are heartbroken, our main priority is the safety of our dear staff and team members.”
He went on to say that he is committed to supporting the community “in the days, months, and years to come.”
The blaze began several days ago, prompting the evacuation of thousands of residents and at last report, 36 people have been killed.
Fleetwood, who has been a part-time resident of Maui for decades, opened his restaurant in 2012.
