Tori Kelly landed in the ICU last month after a blood clot-related collapse, just days before the release of her new EP, Take Control. She has now recovered, and is getting back to work with a brief North American tour in September. "It's been too long! The #takecontroltour is here," Kelly announced on social media.
The nine-date stretch includes shows in Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Denver, and Atlanta. More dates are expected to be announced in the future.
Kelly was hospitalized July 23 after she fainted while out to dinner with friends in Los Angeles. Doctors found blood clots in the "Paper Hearts" singer's legs and lungs.
