The collected songs have also generated more than 220 million on-demand official streams. Those 3 days have also given 1989 (Taylor’s Version) the second-largest sales week of 2023, behind only Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which sold 507,000 in its opening week. 1989 (Taylor’s Version) also already has the second largest week of the year, in terms of total equivalent album units earned, again second only to Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which debuted with 716,000 units.
