Wyatt Flores has is taking a break from touring to deal with his mental health.
The “Please Don’t Go” singer announced on Instagram Monday (February 19th) that he will be cancelling his February 21st show in Oxford, Ohio and rescheduling dates in Detroit and Toronto originally planned for February 22nd and 23rd, respectively.
He wrote, “Since November, I’ve been struggling with the feeling of feeling nothing. At the end of the day, I’m human and no one is built to run this hard without taking care of themselves while feeling this much adrenaline. There are a lot of hidden variables that come into play that go beyond the lights and the music.”
The 22-year-old echoed those sentiments in an accompanying clip that showed him addressing an audience from the stage, saying, “This is the only thing that I’ve ever cared about and for some reason I can’t figure out, I don’t feel a thing. I’m struggling with it. I’m sorry guys.”
Flores embarked on his 33-city Life Lessons 2024 tour on January 25th and is scheduled to wrap things up on May 10th in Morrison, Colorado.
