Jordan Davis has earned six #1 hits from his Platinum-selling debut album, Home State. Plus, his current Gold album, Bluebird Days, touts three multi-week-#1s. So, it’s fair to say he’s good at picking singles.
“Tucson Too Late” is still in the Top 15 right now and over the weekend, he released a new track, titled “Good News Sold.”
He didn’t write it, but his brother, and many times his writing partner, Jacob Davis was one of the co-writers. Jordan tells us his inspiration for record it:
“‘Good News Sold’ was a song that came to me a couple of years ago, I think, kind of at a time where every time I turned the TV on or opened my phone, it was bad news, something I didn’t want to read or see. And I honestly think that there’s great news out there every day, and unfortunately, we just have to dig a little deeper to find it. ‘Good News Sold’ is my hope that good news will turn around here in the future.” :25
