Disney CEO Bob Iger announced a new strategy to decrease the output of Marvel content, limiting the number of TV series to two per year and films to no more than three annually. The focus is on reducing volume to prioritize quality. He says Marvel has “a couple of good films in ’25 and then we’re heading to more ‘Avengers,’ which we’re extremely excited about,” adding: “Overall, I feel great about the slate.” This announcement contradicts the previously distributed release calendar, which included four Marvel films for 2025 and four more for 2026. It’s not clear yet if some of those projects will be dropped or delayed. (Variety)
