A Canadian political candidate was the first to receive no votes…not even from himself. Felix-Antoine Hamel along with 83 other candidates decided to run in a Toronto byelection. They decided to run in order to help create the longest ballot in the country’s history. Hamel received no votes. Since he’s not a Toronto resident, he couldn’t even vote for himself. “I am the true unity candidate. Everyone agrees not to vote for me,” Hamel said. Six other candidates in the race received only two votes apiece. (UPI)
