Korean Robot Administrator Throws Itself Down Flight Of Stairs

A South Korean robot has apparently ended its “life” by throwing itself down a flight of stairs. The robot, who served as an administrator delivering documents and providing information, had been in service since August 2023. The Bear Robotics device even had its own civil servant card. Unfortunately, after circling in place for a while, the robot jumped down a flight of stairs. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. “Officially, he was part of the mayor’s office, one of us. And he worked very hard,” one of the bot’s co-workers in the Gumi City Council said. The council is not currently planning on hiring another robot. (ITC)
