Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment has filed for bankruptcy, and reportedly hasn’t paid its employees in over a week. The media company, which owns the movie rental corporation Redbox, owes $970 million to Universal Studios, Sony Pictures, Lionsgate, Warner Bros., Paramount, BBC Studios Americas, and other streaming companies and retailers. It’s unclear how this filing will impact the 27,000 Redbox kiosks in the United States. (newser)
