A restaurant in Pennsylvania is now suing a customer who left a $3,000 tip. In June 2022, Server Mariana Lambert of Alfredo’s Cafe was shocked and thrilled to see the generous tip on a $13.25-dollar bill. The restaurant claims that the customer said he was inspired by a “Tips for Jesus” trend. However, a few weeks later, the cafe received notice that the charge was being disputed. “We thought somebody was actually trying to do a good thing. And then now we are, what, three months later?” worker Zachary Jacobson said. Lambert has already been paid out, so Alfredo’s is taking the case to court to recover the funds. (Unilad)
