A study published in Psychological Bulletin found that narcissistic people might become kinder as they grow older. Researchers evaluated data from 37,000 participants and found that narcissistic traits show up as early as age eight, and decline slowly over time. While a narcissist’s feelings of superiority and need for admiration don’t decrease as notably, entitlement and emotional instability see bigger declines. Life experiences and investment in social roles and relationships could contribute to a narcissist softening. (Study Finds)
