Man Who Survived 438 Days At Sea Accused Of Cannibalism

Jose Salvador Alvarenga, who survived 438 days stranded at sea, is being sued by the family of his deceased crew mate. The family of Ezequiel Cordoba is accusing Alvarenga of eating Cordoba after he passed away on the small fishing boat. When Alvarenga was found and underwent medical examination, there was no proof that he engaged in cannibalism. Alvarenga insists that he survived by catching fish, birds, and turtles.
