The Ohio Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that customers can reasonably expect to find bones in boneless wings. Michael Berkheimer swallowed a one-inch bone while eating boneless wings at Wings on Brookwood in 2016, and decided to sue the restaurant. However, in a 4-3 decision, the Twelfth District Court of Appeals found the restaurant not liable for Berkheimer’s injuries. Justice Joseph T. Deters said that “boneless wings” were a cooking style, and did not guarantee that bones would not be present. (WTRF)
