Two Chinese chefs have been sentenced to prison for putting antidiarrheal medication in expired food, and serving this food to customers. The medicine was to prevent diners from becoming sick from the very food they were eating. The Market Management Bureau of Chongzhou District also sentenced the men to pay $22,000 dollars in fines. A police investigation found that the chefs served at least 1,612 servings of food laced with gentamicin sulfate. (Oddity Central)
