Last week, one California restaurant was robbed twice just two days apart. The supposed thief left a note for the owners of Teriyaki Madness in San Fernando: “Sorry! Need money for drugs, won’t come back.” Another store in the area, the San Fernando Coffee Company, lost $6 when someone smashed their way in. It appears that the thief or thieves were careful not to leave fingerprints. “People are afraid to make insurance claims, and it’s not OK that this is happening to our small businesses,” Adrianna Gomez, a victim of a recent burglary, said.
