Gen Z and millennials are more interested in experiences than relaxing while on vacation, a survey of 2,000 Americans found. 57% of Baby Boomers prioritize relaxing when they travel, but 30% of millennials think relaxing is a waste of time. 60% of Gen Zers create a vacation plan before they go, and 34% of Gen Xers look at photos others have posted for travel inspiration. “When traveling with a larger group with many ages to keep in mind, I always go for an all-inclusive resort because any worries about entertaining different ages are taken care of,” Michael Lowery of Apple Vacations said.
